Our school is open from 7.30 am until 6.00 pm. Pupils arrive in their classrooms by 8.45 at the latest ready for teaching to begin at 9.00. The children are required to stay together until 4.00 pm. During the remaining time, they are able to take advantage of our early morning or afternoon childcare arrangements and attend the clubs.
We use our afternoon clubs as a vehicle for discovering and fostering the talents of our students. Our programme usually takes place between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm, some activities being delivered by external teachers. The spectrum of activities ranges from choir and musical instrument instruction to art, writing and language clubs. There are also a number of high quality sporting venues (e.g. tennis) with the immediate vicinity of the school to which we have access.
Our secretariat will be happy to answer any questions and accept registrations.
Students who do not participate in the afternoon clubs may attend our day care centre until 6.00 pm where there are plenty of opportunities to play, paint, do handicrafts, relax and read. Our childcare specialists are always present to support the children in organising their free time.
Balanced nutrition is important to children’s healthy development as well as to ensuring that they remain relaxed, attentive and able to concentrate during the school day. For this reason, our school provides the children with a hot lunch and sufficient fresh fruit.
Our locally based caterer ensures that a healthy mixed diet and only fresh quality produce are provided and also takes vegetarian and religious requirements into account. We have hygienic water dispensers which are connected to the drinking water supply to make sure that fizzy water is available at all times. The children can use these dispensers to fill up their water bottles.

Who you are is more important than what you wear. Standardised school clothing strengthens the sense of community and improves the learning and social environment. Children are allowed to develop irrespective of their social origins and without needing to pay attention to the latest fashion trends. They learn that their personality does not depend on fashion or outward appearance and are able to focus on what really matters: the development of their talents and skills.
School clothing does not need to be boring and old-fashioned. Even standardised school clothing leaves scope for the expression of individual preferences. For this reason, Phorms Education has only introduced compulsory upper-body clothing and sportswear. Students are free to determine the rest of their clothing items themselves in accordance with the local rules of the school. This enables us to strike a perfect balance between a standardised appearance and a commonly experienced school culture on the one hand and individual freedom of choice on the other.

Our school closes during part of the official christmas holidays in Hessen and for three weeks during summer. During the remaining holiday periods, we offer comprehensive care.
Our holiday programme is varied and usually includes a whole range of activities. We offer handicrafts and painting sessions, learn about new types of sports, go on excursions, practise drumming and juggling or simply run around. The programme often features an overarching theme such as “Circus”, “Ancient Rome” or “Asia”.
